REMEMBERING
Our D.N.A. is archiving. Stone monuments and memorials are great. But names on stone don't convey the heartache in a vets voice or the pain on their face the way video can. We travel anywhere, anytime to capture vets and vets families stories from any war or conflict. Veterans, gold star wives, special forces, etc are interviewed and provided all footage free of charge on a D.V.D. Videos are posted on our Facebook page and will be available on this site in their entirety in 2012. Copies are also sent to the Library of Congress and the National WWII museum. Additionally, we travel and perform classroom/event presentations free of charge. Every death is history lost. Valor's Voice believes this is a national tragedy.
RESTORING
1/5 Vets returning home suffer from P.T.S.D. As the home page stats clearly suggest, veterans who return home sometimes experience difficulties adjusting. In 2012, we'll begin to offer free vacations for vets and their families. People can donate their condos, cabins, or vacation homes to Valors Voice and we'll provide the additional money for food, gas, etc. so the trip is 100% free. Rest and Relaxation is huge part of the restoration process and many vets simply don't have the money to afford to do so.
REUNITING
One of the recurring topics that surfaces during our interviews is how much veterans would like to see their fellow soldiers one last time. Most lack the knowledge or funds to bring that desire to fruition. In 2012, Valor's Voice will begin to make that happen. Whether dealing with individuals or an entire Company, we believe it's a worthwhile endeavor.
Unbelievably, soldiers currently deployed are charged $100 per month for internet access. Without it they can't e-mail, skype, etc. with loved ones back home. We hope in 2012 to provide access for 200 soldiers.
