"Fulfilling the Promise to Never Forget"

Success Stories

Valor's Voice is fortunate to have accomplished many things in 2011 despite no fundraising efforts. Our organization is excited about 2012 as we pursue this endeavor full time. We realize with the proper funding, the sky is the limit! Here's a few highlights from this past year...

Remembering

In 2011, Valor's Voice successfully archived 40 veterans and Gold Star wives. Those interviews will be available on our website in 2012 in their entirety, free of charge. Next year we should do 40 interviews per month with the proper funding. To view clips of our current Vets and their families that are being added weekly please visit:  www.facebook.com/valorsvoice.

Restoring

Twice last year we were contacted by recently returned Iraq Vets for counseling for P.T.S.D. related issues. We were able to help both families, one of which was in a very desperate state. Neither family wished to have their names published for obvious reasons, but we look forward to many years of restoring our brave men and women through counseling and free vacations.

Reuniting

One of the most memorable interviews we conducted was arranging a joint meeting/interview with two Marines from Cullman, AL. One recently returned from Iraq and the other was a WWII vet and had stormed the beaches at Saipan, Tinian, and Iwo Jima. Ian Hogg, the Iraq vet, is in the last stages of A.L.S. and Mr. Burney, the WWII vet is elderly. Watching the interaction of these two heroes inspired us to begin reuniting soldiers from all wars and all walks of life beginning in 2012, before these meetings are no longer possible.
